Rutland is home to the largest inland sailing in the UK and has fantastic facilities which were put to good use during the 2009 special Olympics.
Whether you are a complete novice or spend a lot of time in the water there is something for everyone to enjoy at rutland water sports. Try windsurfing or canoeing, book the kids raft building party or treat yourself to some sailing lessons from the highly experienced RYA instructors. A range of crafts are available to hire, and private crafts can be launched from the site.

Fishing
Rutland Water attracts fishing enthusiasts from far and wide who come to fish for trout, pike and zander. It is fully equipped to cater for all abilities and regularly hosts top level national and international competitions.
